There is one taxi stand at Madeira Airport, at arrivals, level 0. 

Taxis taking you from Madeira Airport to any destination on the island always operate with a meter.

The fare on the taxi meter should read 3.95€ during the week.

For the transportation of luggage or animals will be charged an extra of 1,50€.

Before taking a taxi, inquire about the fare.

All taxi services charge an additional 20% on weekdays between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. on the following day, and throughout the day on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
