BackgroundANAM, Aeroportos e Navegação Aérea da Madeira, S.A. has as its main purpose to study, plan, build, manage and operate airports in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. Now that the extension of the runway and the enlargement of the air terminal building at the new Madeira Airport have been completed, and without detriment to the planning and development of new airport structures, ANAM’s main mission is the planning, management and operation of the public service of providing support to civil aviation, with ever greater investment being made in airport marketing and other commercial aspects. ANAM, S.A has therefore developed a series of partnerships with various organisations, not only through its Airport Marketing Incentive Programme, but also through the development of a Commercial Action Plan designed to improve its commercial performance by investing in a new image for Madeira and Porto Santo airports. Its overriding aim is to fulfil the public service of providing support for civil aviation, by following objective management and quality criteria in the rendering of services to passengers and other users of the airports in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. |
